Health care Reform

What happened last night? Romney got away with murder on middle class. No mention about 47%, No mention about Bain Capital, No mention “I like to fire people”, No challenging him on his Tax returns, no challenging Romney about shipping jobs overseas, No challenge on his investment in Cayenne Island, No going after him about his Romney Care. Millionaire tax cuts. How about Romney advocating to go

to war with Iran? No mention, nothing, Zero.
What happened to President Obama? Why did he look that flat? Why did he look so dehydrated? Why wasn’t he looking at Romney, and ask him questions about his flip flopping on issues? Why did he let Romney walk on him like that, without punching back? Could it be that, the president was dealing with some foreign policy issues during the day? Why did the president accept to have his first debate on his wedding day anniversary?
I mean Romney has said stupid stuff, and yet the president just stood there and said nothing about Romney’s record. The philosophical approach does not work when your opponent is taking you in a mud slide fight.
When somebody punches you hard, change your stance and punch harder. Romney is sitting on so many time bombs and yet, the president did not challenge Romney on any of his flip flopping stances. The mistake Democrats are making, is assuming all Americans are savvy, and know what’s going on.
Mr. President, your campaign advisor said Americans know the truth, and I am saying no they don’t. Many are not interested in reading long essays, or going to read on your website. They are babies. They need to be fed porridge every morning.
Not many people follow the blogs, or stick to a television set. A debate is a huge thing, and should not be underplayed. Many Voters wait for that moment, and President Obama just brought back Romney back in the race. He should have finished him off, by asking him to explain himself about the 47% remarks, About Bain Capital, and about how he, Romney was part of shipping jobs overseas. Again what happened to President Obama last night? I still do not trust Romney with the middle class and immigrants. So even if he shined on the first debate, having experience with Christ Christie, taught me a lesson not to trust anything that comes out of a Republican mouth.

MY OPINION

November 02, 2010.

Vote Theise  For Congress. Today is Election Day. Polls are open from 6:00AM to 8:00PM.

  1.  Express Times:- ” Theise makes a more balanced argument to steer the country out of its crisis, and we endorse his candidacy. He is showing a willingness to engage the public and debate in a way Garrett did not in this campaign. While most incumbents claim this advantage, Garrett seems to be taking it to an extreme.”
  2.  Michael Fremer:-We deserve moderate, responsible representation in Washington. We haven’t had that since Marge Roukema retired.”
  3. The Records:- “Democratic challenger Tod Theise would bring a very different voice to Washington, one that deeply understands the district’s conservative base, but is more in line with the state’s social values.   Keeping a close eye on federal dollars and trying to rein in spending where necessary is a wise and good thing to do, but we do not believe a congressman who votes against nearly every bill simply on fiscal grounds best serves the people of the 5th District.”
  4.  Theise will never vote against the will of middle class.
  5.  Theise will fight to bring back 9.8 Billion back to New Jersey from Washington by introducing the law when elected for every state to get a minimum of 75 cents minimum back to every tax dollar we send to Washington.
  6. Theise believe in being our brother and sisters keepers in time of hardships. We rise and fall together as Americans.
  7. Theise is a uniter and not a divider.
  8.  Theise wants tax cuts for Middle class not only the 2% rich. He criticized the Bush Cuts  in contributing to the deficit that brought this country to its knees from 2000 -2008. They contributed to a lot of unemplyment because jobs were shipped abroad.
  9. Theise Supports investing in America and creating jobs for Americans.
  10.  Theise supports the Obama health care law. He believes it has good things in it but should be improved to remove mandates.
  11.   Theise  understands that, punishing people who try to follow the law is not a way todeal with Illegal immigration . The immigration system should improve and  for undocumented immigrants living here, he wants to revive the guest-worker program backed by Sen. John McCain and former President George W. Bush. For people brought to the United States when they were small children, he supports finding a way for them to apply for citizenship.
  12.  Theise does not support privatization of Social security. Seniors will lose their money if that happened.

Why Should you retire the incumbent Garrett his  opponent ?

Garrett  voted against everything that benefits middle class Americans.

  1. He voted against bills to help Hurricane Katrina victims ,
  2.  He Voted against  providing a Medicare prescription drug benefit plan,
  3.   Twice he voted against a bill to ensure medical care and compensation for Ground Zero workers.
  4. He also has voted repeatedly against extending unemployment benefits.
  5.  He voted against Senior Financial Empowerment Act 2010 H R 3040
  6.  He voted against Consumer protection Act
  7.   He voted against Medical Relef Act H R 3421
  8. He voted Against Small Business Development  H R 1845
  9.  He voted against  Natural Risk Reduction Act 2009 H R 3820
  10.  He voted against Health Insurance Industry Fair Competition Act H R 4626
  11.  He voted against Energy jobs for Veterans ACT HR 4592
  12.  He voted against Plain Writing Act

The list is too long to list all the bills Garrett voted against. He is fine with collecting Government funded benefits and his big salary.

Did I also mention that he has made a career out of politics? In Warren county the worse thing is cronyism, We have people like Republican DiMao  Assembly man  collecting two checks from the government, funded by the tax payers. typical of the Republican hypocrisy.

They want small government and yet they are always lining up for government jobs. Republican Acetturo lost his election for Freeholder, an antic dealer by profession, now  has been appointed to head the motor vehicle department.. How is that shrinking the size of government? I thought Government is bad…

Coming back to Garrett, he should be sent packing. He does not represent the middle class but  foreign corporations and financial institutions who got the bailout  from the government , as evidenced below:

Tod Theise Demands that Scott Garrett Resign his Office Immediately

News Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE                                                                                            CONTACT:

Congressional Candidate and first responder calls out Garrett for voting

Two times in less than two months to deny 9/11 heroes life-saving medical benefits

Washington, NJ – Democratic candidate for Congress Tod Theise today called upon Congressman Scott Garrett to resign his seat based on Garrett voting twice in less than two months to deny the heroic 9/11 first responders medical benefits necessary to save their lives.

Theise, who serves as a 1st Lieutenant in the New York Guard and works with first responders, issued the following statement:

“Congressman Scott Garrett irreparably dishonored his office by voting not just once, but twice, to deny health care funding for the heroes that responded to the call of duty on September 11, 2001.   This isn’t a campaign issue for me.  It is personal.

I currently serve as a 1st Lieutenant in the New York Guard (the “Guard”).  The Guard is a volunteer military force whose stated mission is to augment the New York National Guard (unfortunately, New Jersey has no counterpart to the Guard).  We train primarily in the areas of emergency management and response.  In the likely event New York City is once again subjected to a 9/11-scale attack, I will be called upon to serve alongside the same courageous breed of first responders that Scott Garrett callously cast aside with his vote.

Every single member of New Jersey’s Congressional delegation other than Garrett – both Republican and Democrat – twice voted to honor these brave men and women by extending them health care coverage to treat the grievous damage they suffered defending our nation.  These twelve Congressmen recognized that New Jersey was uniquely impacted on September 11th and that the heroic actions of these first responders were the only thing that prevented an even greater loss of life.  Now these same first responders who gave life to so many need our assistance to save their own lives.  They can count on my full and unwavering support.  How Scott Garrett can turn his back not once, but twice on these patriots is utterly un-American and patently treacherous.

My candidacy stands for far more than simply being elected to Congress.  It is about standing up for those patriots who gave all to protect our nation in its darkest hour.  I can never erase from my mind the image of fire fighters receiving their last rites as they prepared to head into the towers.  These men and all those that served that day understood the true nature and cost of honor.  The people of the 5th district deserve a Congressman who shares this understanding.  And it is not Scott Garrett.  I am demanding that Garrett immediately resign his office based on his disgraceful conduct.

Tod Theise is the Democratic candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 5th District.  Tod is a licensed New Jersey attorney and works in Manhattan as a Senior Litigation Analyst at a major international law firm.  Tod contributes to our nation’s security by serving as a 1st Lieutenant in the New York Guard and is trained in various areas of emergency management and response.  Tod lives in Washington Township (Warren County) with his wife and daughter.

According to Gov Howard Dean, the Campaign for Health care reform that will include the public option has reached it’s final stretch.800px-Howard_dean
“The fear tactics from the opposition did’nt not work because support for president Obama’s Healthcare Reform which includes the choice of a public health insurance option has increased since the beginning of August.” say Dean
This is a testament to the fact that you never gave up. All summer we worked together to make sure Congress got the message that inclusion of a public option in any healthcare reform bill passed this year is non-negotiable. And every time Republicans tried to kill it or the insurance industry claimed it’s already dead, you stood up and proved them wrong”

Just came back from the demonstration Rally in support to the Health Care Reform.
Because we reside in the crazies base County, we took it to the street. It was amazing, fulfilling and effective, even when we are out numbered by the republicans. We delivered our message in a very peaceful and civil manner. We had no media coverage. I guess it is not fun to cover anything positive, if we were chanting Nazi, Hitler, and all the crazy stuff like take back our country, I am sure that would be attractive. Peace is not something that gets coverage.

Health care Rally 276
Cars were honking in support. It felt so good, just to push back the crazies. Here are the pictures I took.

Health care Rally 283

Have you ever felt a need to make your voice heard in the middle of the crazy mob, who appear to be so taller than yourself and look like Bullies? Imagine the picture of this crazy monster with big ugly teeth threatening to kill you if you speak the truth, and then you are there thinking , should I take a risk to fight this gorilla or not? Then your guts tells you, just go out and fight, do not get intimidated by the size of your opponent.

You bundle up off you go for a fight? That is what I did today. It feels so refreshing to preach the truth and facts to the people who have drunk the cool aid from Fox News and Glenn Beck.

In the middle of the battle ground, the entire ground chants in support of your message, cars honking in support, thumbs up.

Health care Rally 281

That is exactly what happened today. You never know, how many people you may change, until you take part in educating the uninformed public. I just realized today that we have a good crowd in Warren County supporting the health Care Reform. Be like a brave turtle, facing the lion.

Health care Rally 284

Of Course, I was doing paparazzi, since we had no coverage. Our county is controlled by Republicans, so they refused to give us publicity. The Radio, News papers are all controlled by Repubs and we had zero reporters, they told us in advance that we are on our own.

So I did my amateur photographing, but what the heck. I did it.

Health care Rally 269

This was my favorite poster. Holding it is Janice Swack running for Council in Independence. She was the organizer of this demonstration against the tea baggers .Here she is

Health care Rally 268

She is an Icon for Democrats in this county dominated by holy holy elephants.

Health care Rally 262

We had one oposition who came to disrupt us, trying to sell his opposition message. We watered him down with facts, and obvious questions.

The dems are not putting up with any nonsense, they are fighting back in a civil and peaceful way. Our anti-Health care reform was this old guy screaming at us, chanting Obama is a socialist .

 Health care Rally 272

It was not easy with him because, our message overshadowed his negativity. He could not give an answer to what type of insurance he had. I asked him whether he was on medicare, you would have seen how we watered him down, with facts about health care, and told him medicare is a government run program. He immediately zipped his big mouth.

Health care Rally 273

See what happens when you use facts to challenge a lie. These wing nuts have no facts, Flood them with facts, they have no answers. That is why you can’t be afraid. They use violent words to scare people, but when you confront them with facts, they are cowards.

Look at how embarrassed he looks after learning the truth about medicare. Duh

Health care Rally 274

Health care Rally 261

Small group but effective with the right message. For this county, this is pretty a good sign for change.

Health care Rally 277

I walked by and took a pic of  supporters, telling their personal stories and word of encouragement.

Health care Rally 278

Peaceful people. Do you see any craziness here?

Health care Rally 260

After this, my girl friend and I went to a near by out door  free concert , to take our chances to handout our health Care reform flyer’s. We were successful. Check the crowd in this county, these are holy holy you know people? Anti Obama. But you will be shocked. I am sure many of these folks  are on medicare. What is laughable folks is olsd folks who are against Government take over, are on medicare.

Health care Rally 006

Health care Rally 005

Anyway, all I can say is Fox News , Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh are misleading people in this country. All these old folks , do spend their days listening to fox news. What a shame.

Time to go to bed. Work day Monday. It’s 1.12 AM now. I am tired.

Sunday, Sept 13 2009:-  I am out to the rally in support of the Health Care Reform. You can’t feed your neighbor’s child, before you feed your own.

There is no reason, any American shoud die with a treatable illness because they can’t afford  insurance. It is disgusting, to see people  acting like monsters  protesting and blocking fellow Americans access to health care, because of their greed. It is so an American.

The tone of these rallies, are driving this country into political insanity. The inflammatory rhetoric is getting out of hand.  America is the multicultural nation, and this coming from the top consevative mouth piece, is scary.

Rush Limbaugh is preaching crap, and no Gop leaders are able to rebut him. He is on air scaring white folks. Also on the left people of color are getting so irritated to see their hope being taken away. So they are becoming very angry too. This is so depressing, and crazy.

Some people may think, I am not being analytical of President Obama. After only 8 months, I do not think it is fair to punch him before he is even given chance to show his leadership.

I can assure you onething, I will start sleeping when the crazies on the right stop being crazy. If you can’t see insanity with the right wing , then there is something wrong with your brains too.  Where is the civilized nation that was admired by the world.

Guys put your acts together, you are acting like idiots. The entire world is watching your craziness. Gee.

This country needs civility and a healthy debate. That is,if you want this country to lead  in the entire world. You can’t preach democracy when you don’t show your democracy in your own crib.

I am here killing myself pushing my kids to go to college and there you are, in this civilized nation  preventing your kids to go to college. It is frightening to see how dumb and stupid some people are in this country. I can’t believe this is the same America I knew, which had a big bang singing to the outside world about democracy. Wow.

What do you think most immigrants are discussing at their dinner table today? I am sure they are saying, boy; is this how stupid and dumb some people in this nation are?

You have 30% of people in this nation who are not proud to have an educated president whose election was historical to the entire world. President Obama is an icon to the young generation. He is a motivation to many young generation . Our children are more inspired  to work hard in school. To me, that is refreshing, to some of you it is like smelling a skunk in your back yard.

One day your own  kids will rebell against your craziness.

Let me give you a nice song. Reminder. Majority Americans spoke loud and clear. Get over it.

I support President Obama. I do not care what anyone says. He is the president of the United States and he deserves some respect, he was elected by the people.

The more you attack your own president the more, you let the world doubt what you stand for as a nation, you are puting the character of this nation in jeopady.

Your rants just shows how hypocritical you are, and that is how the entire world is going to view this nation unfortunately.
I really cannot reconcile the two. You want to help other countries to be civil and introduce democracy in their countries, when you can’t show a bit of some civility to your own president. I urge Republicans to be civil, because you are making a fool out of yourselves.

By the way, because of the craziness I have seen with the Republican party, you are pushing me to stop doing business in any of your businesses.

I stopped shopping at Walmart, I do not get gas at any Exxon Mobil gas station,  If you are my doctor, and I find out that you are one of these crazies, you are tossed. I am not coming to your practice.  I will shop around until I find genuine physicians, who are not drunk with the Fox news, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Mitchell Bauchman, Joe “you Lie” Wilson.

I am sure there are reasonable physicians in this country who are there to help and care for humans.

The right wing has driven this country into political insanity.  It is hard to believe what I am seeing this craziness. This is getting out of hand, and what is this telling about this great nation?

Look folks, some of you, who are rapped up into racial remarks, check out who supported and worked their butts off to have your current president elected. The socialists, nazi, Hitler and what ever name coming out of your craziness is ridiculous. Check this folks, take a cookie put it in your mouth. You are going to feel so stupid, when you count white folks in this room, who made this election possible.

Here is candidate Obama thanking his staffers. This is the true reflection of how humble president Obama is.

I am left with my mouth open……….Never mind  my rant

This is what we saw last year. The right wing nutcases have gone nuts after losing the 2008 elections. They are now multiplying in large numbers, opposing the new admnistration left, right and center.  It is going to get worse. They can not handle the Obama Presidency. The hidden agenda is out in public. It is no longer a GOP secret.

It is killing them to the point that, they are willing to carry guns to town hall meetings to intimidate people. They are Cowards.. That is the language of cowardness. Showing off guns.

This is not about the stimulus, because last year between September/October 2008, the Bush administration gave $700B in stimulus to the wall street when the economy went to the toilet last year.  This outrage is not even about health care.

It is about something bigger than all above. This is something  that has been hiding deep down their (GOP right wing nuts) throats for decades.  It is RACISM at its best.

The question is;

Are we intimidated by these screamer cowards  who carry guns to the town hall meeting or scream like they are in labor;  to avoid a health and productive adult debate? and are we  going to allow nut cases control our minds?

My answer is NOPE…. Enough of this nosense. Some of us, are not easily intimidated. We leos can be nice and stubborn , our gentleness is always mistaken for a weakness, which is not the case. We just give people chance to tie the rope in their own neck, and kill themselves.  Once you cross your line we crash you.

Do not under estimate President Obama. The day he will turn around to give these nut cases, one or two pain killers, they will cry like babies with diaper rush.

February 17 2009, GOP rally against stimulus:

Right wing anti-stimulus rally in colorado

The Bush administration approved and signed on $7oob stimulus in Sept. October 2008,  if my memory serves me right. Remember when John McCain suspended his campaign, and said he went to help out make a decision on how to help with the sinking economy, when the system collapsed?

Mr Obama was not yet elected as president. How come  I did not see all this outrage from the right wing. What a bunch of hypocrites.

April 15 2009, Denver tea party

When Bush lied to this country that Sadam Hussein had weapon of mass destruction, and he and Dick Chenney, signed on the Iraq war, how come I never saw this outrage , to stop the Bush administration from the reckless spending? Hypocrites.

Yeah we spent almost 10 million every month on the  Iraq war. Where was the outrage? Hypocrites.

What has changed on the GOP side  since 2008 elections? nothing. More anger and more intimidations towards the new administration.

Health Care oppositions right wing goes nuts?????????????????? As above

Same bull still going on with the losers.

I am so tired of people pretending like they were not in this country for the past eight years. Especially those who claim to have voted for Mr Obama, and all of a sudden they are crying like babies in wet diapers that they are dissapointed in President Obama already.

I can say this to them. YOU NEVER SUPPORTED president Obama, so stop coming out pretending like the reason you are acting like the crazy right wing nuts is because the new president is not doing much.

I have seen a lot of inprovements from January 20 2009. President Obama and his administration are working tirelessly to fix the mess left by your holyness craziz Republicans.

Enough  of this nosense. The  name calling of the sitting president and opposing to anything he says is childish.

I am tired of all this angry fakers, bunch of  hypocrites. It is over. Get over it.

My friendly advice is;

If you cannot handle the fact, pack your bags and go hybernating. Ask your ancestors where they came from. maybe you can have some peace there for the next eight years.

What should the Obama administration do now?

In my own opinion, It is time for President Obama to move on with the people who elected him. He cannot continue to negotiate with the sychopath , the party of “NO“.

Republicans are defining themselves, they are nasty and ignorant. What they covered up  for years ( rascism) is out, therefore they have nothing to lose. They lost their elections, so do not sink with them.

I can explain it easily as illustrated in this video. That is the thinking of the right wing nuts and their Congress men and women.

Repubs have no decency to hide their hatred anymore.  All I can say is, the far right,  wing nut cases, are an embarrassment to the white race. Thank God, the progressive do not chew in the same dish with the crazies.

As I said above, It is time for  President Obama to move on. These are the same people who did not support his candidacy during the elections. Nothing has changed and nothing is going to change their minds. The poison has been passed on, from their forefathers and now they are passing it on to their innocent children, just like their parents passed it to them.

Move On Mr President. President Obama is a great person, he has a good temperment, but I think it is time to say ENOUGH guys.

It is over for the Republicans. They failed this country over and over. ? What makes President Obama think, GOP will do a miracle this time around.

It is time for the president to show his leadership as hepromised. GOP will never support him, they are angry and wounded. They lost the elections.

GOP will get over it. Stop negotiating with the GOPs in congress or senate. They are behind all these unproductive rallies.

ENOUGH is ENOUGH.
