Sarah Palin

It is Easter Weekend Saturday, nice and sunny, warm about 70 degrees. I am at the Democrats Head quarters doing my volunteer work. I am hanging out in the office with a good companion, my dog Smokey.

What is going on in NJ 5th District – Warren County?
This year Democrats candidates are running for office;
Tod Theise, who ran for office as a democrat freeholder candidate against Angelo Acceturo, is running for US Congress in NJ district 5 against the GOP ” god” Scott Garrett who votes “NO” on every policy that benefits the middle class.
Tammy Smith, who ran last year for NJ assembly in the 23rd district, is running for Surrogate and Robert Gara is running for Sheriff.
I call these candidates “brave hearts.”
On the other hand, the GOP opposition is going crazy with their Tea party rallies against the Health Care. A Tea Party Rally is scheduled for April 10 2010 at 10.00AM in Warren County headed by State Senator Mike Doherty.

See what we are up to in Christie’s base counties

Doherty ( R-Warren-, Hunterdon) and assembly woman Alison Littell McHose are calling on New Jersey attorney General Paula Dow to join attorneys in other 14 states in a lawsuit against Health Care which was signed into law last week claiming it is unconstitutional. No republican in either house of congress and senate supported the bill.

HYPOCRICY: GOP Spending is Not Wasteful until Democrats Spends.
Now try to match the two. Saturday is a Tea party Rally against health care in Warren County, at the same time,  GOP- Warren county Board of  freeholders approved the $7.3 million for the purchase of 445 Marshall street in Phillipsburg and some renovations on the existing Warren county community College. For clarity sake, I am pro- education, and I welcome any expansion to Warren County College, because this will benefit our students who are future leaders.
..But what I have a problem with, is the hypocrisy of the Grand Obstruction Party, who wants to have it both ways. This is the state with a Republican governor who is panting over Democrats spending and cutting all state education Aid.

His Budget cuts has also led to the closure of  Psychiatric Hospital.

Along with other cuts announced , Gov. Chris Christie called for closing the 310-bed hospital with about 600 employees in Lebanon Township by June 2011. Many have called this as a reckless move by Govenor Chris Christie.

Also, last week Christie was in montclair addressing high school student at Montclair high school, explaining himself out why he is cutting education funding. Here is the GOP governor talking to students last week. Remember essex county is highly dominated by Democrats, and that is where he targeted most of his cuts. Not Warren County.

WEST ORANGE — “Facing a dramatic cut in state aid, West Orange schools plan to lay off 84 staff members, including 33 teachers, to make up the difference.”

In Warren County ( Christie’s base) the project worth $7.3 Million just got approved, at the same time, this is the same GOP County and tea party groups who are protesting the government for passing health care , while their GOP governor Christie, is crying foul over the state deficit.
Is  this the same governor who will pay for half the price of the approved Project in Warren County?

Are Christie’s cuttings only targeted in the heavily Democrat populated counties? What is this game about?
It is ok for GOP to spend, but it is not ok when it is a Democrat coming up with any type of project. This is hypocritical, or should I say playing double standards to win voter support on both sides?

This is where I have a problem with GOP leadership it is all about bulling people;

Christie is still out fighting the teachers in NJ, what I find troubling is. Why can’t he fight his own base as well? How can Chris Christie look into people ‘s eyes and say he is trying to balance the deficit by cutting spending , when his base is benefiting, by advocating for the rich?

According to the Warren County Reporter and express times, the $7.3 million project will be financed by the bond ordinance, and half of the project will be financed by the state, since the state is responsible for the debt service on bond through the chapter 12 state funding program, which was created to help finance facilities at county colleges since colleges are not permitted to take on debt. Hmmm.

What is wrong with this picture? Closing the hospital, and substuting it for something else that can wait until the state is out of recession?

Listen Tea Bags; you cannot have it both ways.
I love Warren County; especially living in the midst of the opposition is so much fun.

Health care Rally 249

This is what we saw last year. The right wing nutcases have gone nuts after losing the 2008 elections. They are now multiplying in large numbers, opposing the new admnistration left, right and center.  It is going to get worse. They can not handle the Obama Presidency. The hidden agenda is out in public. It is no longer a GOP secret.

It is killing them to the point that, they are willing to carry guns to town hall meetings to intimidate people. They are Cowards.. That is the language of cowardness. Showing off guns.

This is not about the stimulus, because last year between September/October 2008, the Bush administration gave $700B in stimulus to the wall street when the economy went to the toilet last year.  This outrage is not even about health care.

It is about something bigger than all above. This is something  that has been hiding deep down their (GOP right wing nuts) throats for decades.  It is RACISM at its best.

The question is;

Are we intimidated by these screamer cowards  who carry guns to the town hall meeting or scream like they are in labor;  to avoid a health and productive adult debate? and are we  going to allow nut cases control our minds?

My answer is NOPE…. Enough of this nosense. Some of us, are not easily intimidated. We leos can be nice and stubborn , our gentleness is always mistaken for a weakness, which is not the case. We just give people chance to tie the rope in their own neck, and kill themselves.  Once you cross your line we crash you.

Do not under estimate President Obama. The day he will turn around to give these nut cases, one or two pain killers, they will cry like babies with diaper rush.

February 17 2009, GOP rally against stimulus:

Right wing anti-stimulus rally in colorado

The Bush administration approved and signed on $7oob stimulus in Sept. October 2008,  if my memory serves me right. Remember when John McCain suspended his campaign, and said he went to help out make a decision on how to help with the sinking economy, when the system collapsed?

Mr Obama was not yet elected as president. How come  I did not see all this outrage from the right wing. What a bunch of hypocrites.

April 15 2009, Denver tea party

When Bush lied to this country that Sadam Hussein had weapon of mass destruction, and he and Dick Chenney, signed on the Iraq war, how come I never saw this outrage , to stop the Bush administration from the reckless spending? Hypocrites.

Yeah we spent almost 10 million every month on the  Iraq war. Where was the outrage? Hypocrites.

What has changed on the GOP side  since 2008 elections? nothing. More anger and more intimidations towards the new administration.

Health Care oppositions right wing goes nuts?????????????????? As above

Same bull still going on with the losers.

I am so tired of people pretending like they were not in this country for the past eight years. Especially those who claim to have voted for Mr Obama, and all of a sudden they are crying like babies in wet diapers that they are dissapointed in President Obama already.

I can say this to them. YOU NEVER SUPPORTED president Obama, so stop coming out pretending like the reason you are acting like the crazy right wing nuts is because the new president is not doing much.

I have seen a lot of inprovements from January 20 2009. President Obama and his administration are working tirelessly to fix the mess left by your holyness craziz Republicans.

Enough  of this nosense. The  name calling of the sitting president and opposing to anything he says is childish.

I am tired of all this angry fakers, bunch of  hypocrites. It is over. Get over it.

My friendly advice is;

If you cannot handle the fact, pack your bags and go hybernating. Ask your ancestors where they came from. maybe you can have some peace there for the next eight years.

What should the Obama administration do now?

In my own opinion, It is time for President Obama to move on with the people who elected him. He cannot continue to negotiate with the sychopath , the party of “NO“.

Republicans are defining themselves, they are nasty and ignorant. What they covered up  for years ( rascism) is out, therefore they have nothing to lose. They lost their elections, so do not sink with them.

I can explain it easily as illustrated in this video. That is the thinking of the right wing nuts and their Congress men and women.

Repubs have no decency to hide their hatred anymore.  All I can say is, the far right,  wing nut cases, are an embarrassment to the white race. Thank God, the progressive do not chew in the same dish with the crazies.

As I said above, It is time for  President Obama to move on. These are the same people who did not support his candidacy during the elections. Nothing has changed and nothing is going to change their minds. The poison has been passed on, from their forefathers and now they are passing it on to their innocent children, just like their parents passed it to them.

Move On Mr President. President Obama is a great person, he has a good temperment, but I think it is time to say ENOUGH guys.

It is over for the Republicans. They failed this country over and over. ? What makes President Obama think, GOP will do a miracle this time around.

It is time for the president to show his leadership as hepromised. GOP will never support him, they are angry and wounded. They lost the elections.

GOP will get over it. Stop negotiating with the GOPs in congress or senate. They are behind all these unproductive rallies.

ENOUGH is ENOUGH.

This may just be the rumor. May not be true, but it is rooming on the net.
According to the Anchorage daily news,  Sarah Palin is rumored to be moving to the lower 48 states. Her eye is settling on Rhode Island

Below is a quote from the Anchorage daily News.  As I say, I am not sure wether these are facts or just rumors to get people’s attention. We will keep an ear to the ground.

The grapevine has finally decided what She Who was Governor plans to do with the rest of her life. And, of course, it’s Ear’s duty to report this most recent rumor. This one has Sarah and the family settling in Rhode Island (Huh?) with $7 million from her book and a contract with FOX. And, oh yes, she’s never running for office again.”

http://features.csmonitor.com/politics/2009/08/20/what-would-sarah-palin-want-with-rhode-island/

For those who have ears, Please sit and listen to this Video.

Ofcourse, if you are Sarah Palin, wanting some public attention, you will go out to start ranting against this bill. ( Ignorance has no defence). No wonder she lost the elections. Too stupid to be close to the white house.

You will be opposing the reform if you belong to the greedy corporate world full of theives that took down this country to the grave yard.

They have made their  wealthy by stealing tax payers money. They become capitalists. because of your contributions from the little you have. They are greedy and evil for picking a poor person like you to fight for them. They know you are ignorant about their operations, and they are putting fear in you. Once they get want they want, they will toss you.

They have been paying themselves big bonuses and If you fall in that group of the 5% wealthy people in this country, yes you are going to oppose the universal health care.

If you are like me, an ordinally person who survive from pay check to pay check, work 24/7 to pay my bills, you will support President Obama’s reform.
Every human Being deserves health care.

What is very disturbing and sad, is Seing and listening to GOP house representatives uniting with the big companies to stop the reform, and igniting anger in people against the sitting president. It  is very un american and evil.

Sarah Palin has it the other way round. She too has a twisted brain. I need to open her brain shake it a little bit with breach. May be her reasoning will be better.
The current healthy Care system is working well for the insurance companies, but it is not working well for the majority of Americans.

Come on guys, this is not about politics, this is about life of millions of american people who can not afford insurance.
Just think of the insurance refusing to cover your medical bills, for your long  illness? Imagine if you diagonized with cancer today, and the same insurance companies you are protecting, that are asking you to rally against the reform, tells you they can not cover your cost of medical bills? Think twice. President Barack Obama is on your side, and politicians in Washington, working with the insurance companies to kill the president’s agenda, are doing it for political reasons. You must trust your president as he is on yourside. Do not screw up your chances.

Sarah Palin’s rambling speech left my mouth wide open. What was Sarah rambling about?

Her speech made me dizzy, as I was trying to get sense of her reasoning . It gets round and round, keep circling in this wall with no outlet. That is how her speech sounded.

Do not get me wrong, I do not hate Sarah Palin, I just do not like her reasoning, and the way she reacts to things.

The problem is not Sarah Palin, but the followers that can not Grasp that Sarah need more education before she runs for president. She is not well balanced,  and can not take the heat. She appears to be too childish. A thought of pimping her to run for President  is crazy.

I blame people who keep planting the thoughts in her head that she is ready and keep pushing her to run. The fact is this woman is not ready for any office.

Sarah Palin needs to tone it down or slow down a little bit.

She should sit back and keep her acts together, before she puts her face in politics again.

Attacking Media and her critics will not help her. She needs to work on her weaknesses before she puts herself on a political stage again.  That is my friendly advise I can give to my dear Sarah.

The truth is, her last speech as governor sounded nothing like a petty angry little woman , giving one boring speech . Sarah talks about nothing. It is like going through the round abouts and not reaching the destiny.

Here is Sarah Palin Fairwell Speech:

“What an absolutely beautiful day it is, and it is my honor to speak to all Alaskans, to our Alaskan family this last time as your governor.  And it is always great to be in Fairbanks.  The rugged rugged hardy people that live up here and some of the most patriotic people whom you will ever know live here, and one thing that you are known for is your steadfast support of our military community up here and I thank you for that and thank you United States military for protecting the greatest nation on Earth.  Together we stand.

And getting up here I say it is the best road trip in America soaring through nature’s finest show.  Denali, the great one, soaring under the midnight sun.  And then the extremes.  In the winter time it’s the frozen road that is competing with the view of ice fogged frigid beauty, the cold though, doesn’t it split the Cheechakos from the Sourdoughs?  And then in the summertime such extreme summertime about a hundred and fifty degrees hotter than just some months ago, than just some months from now, with fireweed blooming along the frost heaves and merciless rivers that are rushing and carving  and reminding us that here, Mother Nature wins.  It is as throughout all Alaska that big wild good life teeming along the road that is north to the future.  That is what we get to see every day.  Now what the rest of America gets to see along with us is in this last frontier there is hope and opportunity and there is country pride.

And it is our men and women in uniform securing it, and we are facing tough challenges in America with some seeming to just be Hell bent maybe on tearing down our nation, perpetuating some pessimism,  and suggesting American apologetics, suggesting perhaps that our best days were yesterdays.  But as other people have asked, “How can that pessimism be, when proof of our greatness, our pride today  is that we produce the great proud volunteers who sacrifice everything for country?”   Now this week alone, Sean Parnell and I we’re on the, um, on Ft. Rich the base  there, the army chapel, and we heard the last roll call, and the sounding of Taps for three very brave, very young Alaskan soldiers who just gave their all for all of us.  Together we do stand with gratitude for our troops who protect all of our cherished freedoms, including our freedom of speech which, par for the course, I’m going to exercise.

And first, some straight talk for some, just some in the media because another right protected for all of us is freedom of the press, and you all have such important jobs reporting facts and informing the electorate, and exerting power to influence.  You represent what could and should be a respected honest profession that could and should be the cornerstone of our democracy.  Democracy depends on you, and that is why, that’s why our troops are willing to die for you.  So, how ’bout in honor of the American soldier, ya quite makin’ things up.  And don’t underestimate the wisdom of the people, and one other thing for the media, our new governor has a very nice family too, so leave his kids alone.

OK, today is a beautiful day and today as we swear in Sean Parnell, no one will be happier than I to witness by God’s grace Alaskans with strength of character advancing our beloved state.  Sean has that.  Craig Campbell has that.  I remember on that December day, we took the  oath to uphold our state constitution, and it was written right here in Fairbanks by very wise pioneers.  We shared the vision for government that they ground in that document.  Our founders wrote “all political power is inherent in the people.  All government originates with the people.  It’s founded upon their will only and it’s instituted for the good of the people as a whole.”  Their remarkably succinct words guided us in all of our efforts in serving you and putting you first, and we have done our best to fulfill promises that I made on Alaska Day, 2005, when I first asked for the honor of serving you.

Remember then, our state so desired and so deserved ethics reform.  We promised it, and now it is the law.  Ironically, it needs additional reform to stop blatant abuse from partisan operatives, and I hope the lawmakers will continue that reform.  We promised that you would finally see a fair return on your Alaskan owned natural resources so we build a new oil and gas appraisal system, an  is an equitable formula to usher in a new era of competition and transparency and protection for Alaskans and the producers.  ACES incentivizes new exploration and it’s the exploration that is our future.  It opens up oil basins and it ensures that the people will never be taken advantage of again.  Don’t forget Alaskans you are the resource owners per our constitution and that’s why for instance last year when oil prices soared and state coffers swelled, but you were smacked with high energy prices, we sent you the energy rebate.  See, it’s your money and I’ve always believed that you know how to better spend it than government can spend it.

I promised that we would protect this beautiful environment while safely and ethically developing resources, and we did.  We built the Petroleum Oversight Office and a sub-cabinet to study climate conditions.  And I promised I’d govern with fiscal restraint, so to not immorally burden futre generations.  And we did…we slowed the rate of government growth and I vetoed hundreds of millions of dollars of  excess and wtih lawmakers we saved billions for the future.

I promsed that we’d lead the charge to forward funding education, and hold schools accountable, and improve opportunities for special needs students and elevate vo-tech training and we paid down pension debt.

I promised that we would manage our fish and wildlife for abundance, and that we would defend the constitution, and we have, though outside special interest groups they still just don’t get it on this one.  Let me tell you, Alaskans really need to stick together on this with new leadership in this area especially, encouraging new leadership… got to stiffen your spine to do what’s right for Alaska when the pressure mounts, because you’re going to see anti-hunting, anti-second amendment circuses from Hollywood and here’s how they do it.  They use these delicate, tiny, very talented celebrity starlets, they use Alaska as a fundraising tool for their anti-second amendment causes.  Stand strong, and remind them patriots will protect our guaranteed, individual right to bear arms, and by the way, Hollywood needs to know, we eat, therefore we hunt.

I promised energy solutions and we have, we have a plan calling for 50% of our electricity generated by renewable resources and we can now insist that those who hold the leases to develop our resources that they do so now on Alaska’s terms.  So now finally after decades of just talk, finally we’re seeing oil and gas drilling up there at Point Thompson.  And I promised that we would get a natural gas pipeline underway and we did.  Since I was a little kid growing up here, I remember the discussions, especially the political discussions  just talking about and hoping for and dreaming of commercializing our clean, abundant, needed natural gas.

Our gas line inducement act, AGIA, that was the game-changer and this is thanks to our outstanding gas line team, and the legislature adopting this law, 58-1.  They knew, they know AGIA is the vehicle to drive this monumental energy project and bring everyone to the table, this bipartisan victory, it came from Alaskans working together with free market private sector principles, and now we are on the road to the largest private-sector energy project in the history of America.  It is for Alaska’s future, it is for America’s energy independence and it will make us a more peaceful, prosperous and secure nation.

What I promised, we accomplished. “We” meaning state staff, amazing commissioners, great staff assisting them, and conscientious Alaskans outside the bureaucracy – Tom Van Flein, and Meg Stapleton and Kristan Cole, so many others, many volunteers who just stepped up to the challenge as good Alaskans, but nothing, nothing could have succeeded without my right-hand man Kris Perry.  She is the sharpest, boldest, hardest-working partner. Kris is my right-hand man and much success is due to Kris.

So much success, and Alaska there is much good in store further down the road, but to reach it we must value and live the optimistic pioneering spirit that made this state proud and free, and we can resist enslavement to big central government that crushes hope and opportunity.  Be wary of accepting government largess.  It doesn’t come free and often, accepting it takes away everything that is free, melting into Washington’s powerful “care-taking” arms will just suck incentive to work hard and chart our own course right out of us, and that not only contributes to an unstable economy and dizzying national debt, but it does make us less free.

I resisted the stimulus package.  I resisted the stimulus package and we have championed earmark reform, slashing earmark requests by 85% to break the cycle of dependency on a stifling, unsustainable federal agenda, and other states should follow this for their and for America’s stability.  We don’t have to feel that we must beg an allowance from Washington, except to beg the allowance to be self-determined.  See, to be self-sufficient, Alaska must be allowed to develop – to drill and build and climb, to fulfill statehood’s promise.  At statehood we knew this.  At statehood we knew this, that we are responsible for ourselves and our families and our future, and fifty years later, please let’s not start believing that government is the answer.  It can’t make you happy or healthy or wealthy or wise.  What can?  It is the wisdom of the people and our families and our small businesses, and industrious individuals, and it is God’s grace, helping those who help themselves, and then this  allows that very generous voluntary hand up that we’re known for, enthusiastically providing those who need it.

Alaskans will remember that years ago, remember we sported the old bumper sticker that said, “Alaska.  We Don’t Give a Darn How They Do It Outside?”  Do you remember that?  I remember that, and remember it was because we would be different.  We’d roll up our sleeves, and we would diligently sow and reap, and we can still do this to carve wealth out of the wilderness and make our living on the water, with strong hands and innovative minds, now with smarter technology.  It is what our first people and our parents did.  It worked, because they worked.  We must be prudent and persistent and press for the people’s right to responsibly develop God-given resources for the maximum benefit of the people.

And we have come so far in just 50 years.  We’re no longer a frontier outpost on the periphery of the world’s greatest nation.  Now, as a contributor and a securer of America, we can attain our destiny in the promise of our motto “North to the Future.”  See, the pressing issue of our time, it’s energy independence, because there is an inherent link between energy and security, and energy and prosperity.  Alaska will lead with energy, we will prove you can be both pro-development and pro-environment, because no one loves their clean air and their land and their wildlife and their water more than an Alaskan.  We will protect it.

Yes, America must look north to the future for security, for energy independence, for our strategic location on the globe.  Alaska is the gate-keeper of the continent.

So, we are here today at a changing of the guard.  Now, people who know me, and they know how much I love this state, some still are choosing not to hear why I made the decision to chart a new course to advance the state.  And it should be so obvious to you.  (indicating heckler) It is because I love Alaska this much, sir (at heckler) that I feel it is my duty to avoid the unproductive, typical, politics as usual, lame duck session in one’s last year in office.  How does that benefit you?  No, with this decision now, I will be able to fight even harder for you, for what is right, for truth.  And I have never felt like you need a title to do that.

So, as we all move forward together, let’s vow to keep championing Alaska, to advocate responsible development, and smaller government, and freedom, and when I took the oath to serve you, I promised…remember I promised to steadfastly and doggedly guard the interests of this great state like that grizzly guards her cubs, as a mother naturally guards her own.  And I will keep that vow wherever the road may lead.  Todd and I, and Track, Bristol, Tripp, Willow, Piper, Trig…I think I got ‘em all.  We will forever be so grateful for the honor of our lifetime to have served you.  Our whole big  diverse full and fun family, we all thank you and  I am very very blessed to have had their support all along, for Todd’s support.  I am thankful too.  I have been blessed to have been raised in this last frontier.  Thank you for our home, Mom and Dad, because in Alaska it is not an easy living, but it is a good living, and here it is impossible to lose your way.  Wherever the road may lead you, we have that steadying great north star to guide us home.

So let’s all enjoy the ride, and I thank you Alaska, and God bless Alaska and God bless America.”

Many thanks to Mudflats for the insights.

The most crazy thing I read for news on Sunday,is the dilusional thought of my friend Sarah who is willing to campaign for Dems. That is what I call Bull….t.

Which Dems in particular?

No doubt,  we know queen Sarah’s  dream of becoming one important person in America and Russia ‘s air space.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said she’s not only staying involved in national politics, but she plans to jump back into the national scrum when she leaves office at the end of the month.”

I will go around the country on behalf of candidates who believe in the right things, regardless of their party label or affiliation,” she said during an interview published Sunday in The Washington Times.
